Bowser, Johnston, Hein, Vanderdude, and Molnar et Al on the floor. 40 Minutes of hell. Then put the other guys in. And go full speed again.

The current roster includes zero total players who have shown they are above average at the D-I level.

Several have the potential and there are several more roster additions to come, so there's upside, but the "current" rotation would not be at the top of the SoCon next year.
Good point, a reality check for sure. I was thinking we have been very fortunate in recent years to have at least one or two “stars” to look forward to seeing play the upcoming season. Not this year. Of course JP and MF would have fiillec that role but they are gone. Hoping a newcomer and/or a current player will step up but of course we won’t know that until well into the season.
Other than the championship team that returned the entire roster from the year prior, there was always a question about who was going to be the guy once the stars left. That was JP and MF this year and they certainly did their part as they were all conference guys. I’m positive there will be some surprises and those that haven’t “proved” to be difference makers in division 1 last season will be next season.

If Vandy can get his shot figured out, he will be one to watch out for. Obviously Bowser will be obvious one to take a leap. Expecting PJay to score a ton - will need him to.

I’ll take that Julian Brown kid from Wagner for sure, he balled out against UNC in the first round of the tourney.

Looks like we bagged some Thunder from Down Under. How many years of eligibility does Johnston have?

Smith is a 6'7" forward from Huntersville, NC. He originally signed with Mercer last fall. He had offers from 8 schools including Chattanooga, Drake, Miami (O), and High Point. Since decommiting from Mercer he has also picked up an offer from College of Charleston. Looks like a solid athlete in his highlight video but is best known for his perimeter shot.

Word on the street is Henry Steele is nothing but a hot dog. He likes to dribble behind his back and he swishes his shots and he likes to show out and whatnot.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
