Talk about a roster collapse - In the past 24 hours Indiana State has had 9 players jump into the portal. The trigger was St. Louis hiring their coach. Some sources think many of those players may follow their coach to St. Louis. A few days ago they were playing Seton Hall in the NIT championship game. Quite a roller coaster ride of emotions for Sycamore fans in just a week.
Don't want to look it up - who won, Seton Hall or Indiana State?

Seton hall won... game was close though. I feel for Indiana State, got snubbed from the NCAA tourney, then lose everybody on your team after losing the NIT final

I feel bad for the fans that invested time and money into the program. The coach leaves, opening the door for the players to exit too.

Yes SH won by 2. ISU had the last shot that missed.

Its crazy ... we all know
Now that KU and BU have coach changes likely more players go in portal. Its a ripple effect
So as a coach, what do you do? Wait until all changes have been made then cherry pick from the best avail players? Or go early knowing that you might miss out on better players
Hope no but in a cut throat world, wouldnt be surprised if some ealry signees were let go to get better players. If ya wanted to play with the big boys then be ready to accept consequences.
At the end of the day, gotta figure that it all balances out and it comes down to coaching, team chemistry and culture fit. Think thats where the Dins have an advantage (not alone in SoCon). Dins have a core group that knows the culture and they should be able to mentor the new ones
