Mikeal Brown-Jones is also committed to Ole Miss. Have we just become a feeder league for the SEC?

Ques Glover went from the bench at Florida to 2nd team all conf. at Samford and helped them move up the standings to a regular season co-championship. Trey Bonham averaged 16 ppg and was 1st all conf. this year after transferring from Florida to Chattanooga..

Two way street.

might b the new norm... make 1st team get a big payday.

The real world is not as easy. Being on 1st team at work doesnt necessarily mean big bucks. In fact, usually it means more work same pay

SoCon John hinting at another leaving...could be Achor, he can't make NIL since he is from Australia so I'm not sure Samford could pay to keep him around

The amount of kids transferring out of smaller schools for NIL at larger schools is almost laughable at this point. Glad the kids are able to get paid who deserve it, but what a poor incentive to get a kid a college degree.

Mercer signed Marcus Overstreet - 6'9" 220 freshman transfer from USC-Beaufort. Overstreet is from Chicago and averaged 17 ppg and 11 rebs this year. This was the first season for the new D2 program at USCB.
Former Wofford guard Jackson Paveletzke transferred from Iowa State to Ohio U. Three seasons, three schools.
Another former Terrier, 6'10" Nick Pringle, is going to transfer from Alabama. He averaged 18 minutes per game and 7 ppg and 5 rebs. He had 16 pts. and 11 rebs against Clemson in their regional finals win over the Tigers. I wonder if he ends up at Clemson or South Carolina. He is from South Carolina.

Bernard Pelote, a guy who transferred from WCU, is back with the Catamounts. Have to assume he couldn't anywhere better

Any guesses on the school paying 300G last year? Gene Henley(UTC) also tweets that one Socon is offering six figures for certain players to stay.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage

GoPaladins.com is not affiliated with Furman University or its athletics programs.
