Wild to watch our men’s Lacrosse team playing in the snow. It’s in ESPN3. Good guys up 9-1 at the half.

Pictures were very cool. Glad our guys got the win. Hopefully they’ll be better this year.

A win is a win...but a word of caution. Hampton is a "cupcake" in LAX and a new program. That being said, even in a rout like this game, we were unable to even get close to 50% of the face offs. Winning face offs is critical in lacrosse and we have not had an adequate FO specialist in 3 years now. When we play good teams, that puts us at big disadvantage because it gives the other team more possessions. More possessions equates to more scoring opportunities. It is akin to dominating the offensive boards in basketball. We have had pretty good teams the past few years but they are not able to overcome the face off problem. We were already beaten by a middle of the pack Bucknell team last week, mostly because of this. I have no idea why we are unable to recruit an adequate FO man.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
