I think you are still anxious because of fear. You fear that our basketball will become terrible again after the Medved-Richey years. You want to know who our next coach will be, when (not if) that time comes, so that you can try to have some reassurance about the future. Furman having good basketball is important to you. It is one of the things in your life that you have the need to feel good about.
… For now, please consider that the reason no announcement has been made includes (1) Easter weekend, people are doing other things. (2) Elite Eight games taking all the attention, and (3) the CofC Board of Trustees has not yet had time for an official meeting to approve the contract with Coach Mack.

one things for sure, its amazing the amt of $$$ in college sports for the big name programs. ARK has commercial backers such as Walmart for example.

But to offer multi millions for coaches and supposedlt $1M is the going price for a PG... wow

Somehow Dins and Socon have to get part of this. Thats why $40M for a new arena isnt so bad and big $$$ for a coach isnt either. If not already, need to get a couple $$ backers such as car agencies, real estate companies etc to make the NIL money the best in SoCon and maybe as good as mid level high majors.. IMHO
