No offers yet, but I saw a note that the Paladins are showing interest in 6'3" Jesse Burris, a point guard, who plays for Hayes HS in Delaware, Ohio. Burris already has offers from Akron, and Ohio Univ.

Wonder how many we might be able to sign in 2024 class?

Another player of interest among this year's high school juniors is 6'6" Harris Jackson, an athletic wing/guard who is currently attending Brewster Prep in New Hampshire. Jackson was on the same traveling "AAU" team as Paladin signee Eddrin Bronson this past spring and summer and averaged in double digits while hitting 40% from three point range. He made an unofficial visit to Furman Wednesday and was probably in attendance for the Citadel game.

What makes you think that the arena will be done by then?

2024 recruit won't play Freshman season until 2024-25

Timmons likely to be renovated by 2025-26 season, meaning those guys can play 3 years there or 4 years if they redshirt ;)

Furman extended an offer to Ty Davis. He attends Mountain Brook HS in Alabama which is where Coach Bucky had much success coaching HS basketball. Offer was posted a day after the Dins took him down. Love it!

Ty Davis is a 6'5" point guard who is a good athlete with a long range shooting touch but his most notable skill is his passing ability. He will be a tough get though. Already has listed offers from Samford, Lipscomb, Rice, Indiana State, Tennessee Tech, and Mississippi State, and has taken visits to Loyola, Georgia Tech, and Alabama.

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage

GoPaladins.com is not affiliated with Furman University or its athletics programs.
