Oops. We no longer have baseball I guess I will have follow my 2nd favorite school / team LSU and see how they perform this year.

Loved watching Furman playing in downtown G’ville against MSU and sorts…

Long cold winter ahead

Agree, a long 6 month void between the end of basketball and start of football. Like you I really miss the games at Fluor and those on campus at Lathem too. Oh well, ED got what she wanted and she is hapoy.

Definitely a void in the athletic calendar. A sport that interacted with the community. Brought spectators to campus. Drew four figure attendance to games vs Clemson and South Carolina at Fluor Field. Had an impressive coaching staff that worked well together.

A facility that had a nice playing surface and had received many physical improvements in recent years as a result of invested donors. A program well known in the sport. Long time SoCon sport. Player active in the MLB. A program that added to the University.
